The fruits of a deviantART “art jam” concept pitched by user lerms in late 2009 has finally been revealed, rekindling our love for classic NES promotional design (and how awesomely bad it was). The art jam’s rules were simple : Select a classic title and reimagine its box art, while also keeping the spirit of the original in mind. Suffice it to say, the results were superb and only make us want to print each of the designs for use in our own classic gaming collection

Original Clover soundtrack available for free

Presumably doing a little early spring cleaning, the team at Binary Tweed have released the complete soundtrack to its original Xbox Live Indie Game Clover . For the low, low price of free, those who download the soundtrack will be treated to a piano assortment composed and recorded by Chris Chillingworth (he’s got a MySpace , so he’s legit). Clover is scheduled to make its PC debut with a new ” longer, sexier ” musical accompaniment on March 3 with Clover: A Curious Tale .


MLB 2K10 showcases numbers in ‘Stats & Splits’ trailer

Nothing says “It’s seriously snowing, again?” like a new trailer for MLB 2K10 focusing on the “real language” of baseball. Being pro chair sitters, we’re not really able to vouch for the validity of this trailer’s claims about the vernacular of the diamond, but we can make the claim that the uncanny valley of video games is being crossed by sports. We certainly aren’t sports buffs, but some of the graphics look damn near real life

Court tosses disabled gamer’s suit against Sony

A U.S. District Court for the Central District of California has dismissed a lawsuit against Sony Corporation of America and its related gaming branches (SCEA and SOE) which alleged the company denies access to its services for people with disabilities
